At Luminous Treasures, our goal is “Making Hearts Smile”, and we genuinely hope your recent purchase has brought you complete satisfaction and happiness.
We therefore recommend you read our Refunds and Returns Policy prior to making a purchase from Luminous Treasures, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns, and repairs and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods delivered to you by us upon receipt of the goods to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.
OVERVIEW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product fails during the warranty period. For detailed information on specific brand warranties and their coverage, please refer to our Warranty and Product Care Policy.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve the right to offer a repair only. We reserve the right not to offer a refund or exchange gift card.
GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
Should your goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with proof of damage by email using returns@luminoustreasures.com.au
Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals within 30 days of receipt of goods.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
Because we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase, you have 30 days to return eligible items for a refund, as long as the item is returned in a saleable condition.
Condition: The item must be unworn, unused, unassembled, in its original packaging with any instructions, and all original ticketing must be attached.
Fees: A shipping and handling fee of $15.00 applies to all eligible Change of Mind returns. This amount will be deducted from your final refund.
Exclusions: Certain items are strictly excluded from our Change of Mind policy and cannot be returned:
Bulky and/or Heavy Items (e.g., wall décor, large giftware).
Personalised products.
Pierced jewellery (such as earrings).
Gift cards, vouchers, or third-party cards.
Clearance Collections: Bookmarks, Key Hangers, Photo Frames, Plaques, Suncatchers, and Teacher Gifts.
RING SIZE EXCHANGE
We allow only one ring size exchange per order, so it is important to be confident in your chosen ring size before initiating the exchange process.
It is important to note that your ring size may fluctuate due to weather or when away on vacation.
A shipping and handling fee of $15.00 applies to all ring size exchanges to cover the cost of the return labels and re-delivery.
Please familiarise yourself with these terms and conditions before proceeding with a return or exchange.
OTHER PRODUCT RETURNS (FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED)
Luminous Treasures will provide a refund (via the original payment method), repair, or exchange gift card where:
The item is faulty or not of acceptable quality, or
The item is not fit for its intended purpose, or
The product does not match the sample or our description.
In the instance of bulky and/or heavy items, Luminous Treasures will cover the return costs if the product is found to be faulty or in breach of Consumer Guarantees.
If a bulky item is returned for a suspected fault, but upon inspection no fault is found, a $15.00 assessment and restocking fee plus any applicable shipping costs will be your responsibility.
Luminous Treasures may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange gift card, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
To process any return, we require an Order Number (found in your confirmation email). While we can usually locate your details in our system, providing one of the following ensures a faster resolution:
Online Tax Invoice or Order Number.
PayPal or financial statements clearly showing the Luminous Treasures transaction.
HOW TO RETURN ONLINE
To initiate a return via post:
Contact Us: click here and include your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return.
Receive Label: If your return qualifies, you will receive an email with a link to download your returns label.
Pack & Post: Include a copy of your email/invoice inside the parcel. Attach the returns label to the outside (ensuring any old labels are covered). Drop the parcel off at any Australia Post outlet.
Once the return has been received, a team member will process your refund as per this Refunds & Returns Policy.
DELIVERY CHARGES FOR RETURNS
The customer is responsible for paying for the shipping cost to return an item. Shipping costs for change of mind are not refundable. If you receive a refund the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund unless you are otherwise entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law.
REFUNDS
Refunds are processed using your original payment method. Please allow a reasonable timeframe for the funds to appear in your account once the return has been processed at our end.
DISCLAIMER
Luminous Treasures reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund.
This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or shipping costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
This policy does not override Luminous Treasures’ statutory obligations under the consumer guarantees.
